Bill S. Thompson
Senior Geologist

Mr. Thompson specializes in the investigation, acquisition and development of uranium properties and contract exploration services for junior uranium companies.  He was a supervising geologist and landman for Union Carbide, Atlas Minerals, and Atlantic Richfield on the Colorado Plateau in the 1980’s and this past experience in this area has led to several significant property positions for his clients.  Mr. Thompson has also worked in base and precious metals and industrial minerals in Colorado, Utah and Nevada.  Mr. Thompson has a B.A. in Geology from the University of Colorado with graduate-level geology coursework at Utah State University. Mr. Thompson also has an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver.

Steven R. Davis
Senior Geologist

Mr. Davis has 40 years experience working as a geologist with several major mining companies on projects in the Americas.  He has worked for the Homestake Mining Company, the U.S. Bureau of Mines, and nine years as an independent consultant to the Mining Industry. He received an Associate of Science in Geology from the College of Eastern Utah in Price, UT, a B. S. in Geology from Utah State University and is a Professional Geologist.  Mr. Davis is a registered Professional Geologist in the State of Wyoming, a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, and a member of the Denver Region Exploration Geologists Society.

Harald Hoegberg
Senior Geologist

Mr. Hoegberg’s experience includes twenty-five years of geologic investigations and prospect generation in uranium, industrial minerals, base and precious metals for companies such as Placer-Dome, Inc. and Hunt Oil Company.  For Hunt Oil Company he concentrated on their uranium properties on the Colorado Plateau.  Mr. Hoegberg holds a B.A. in Geology from Boston University where he also pursued post-graduate studies in geology.  He a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists and a Professional Geologist in the State of Wyoming.

Gregory P. Keeling
Senior Geologist

Mr. Keeling’s experience includes geologic investigations and prospect generation in uranium and gold for Uranerz USA Inc., Canyon Resources Corporation, and Urania Exploration Inc. He has worked in Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona and Wisconsin in the uranium and gold industries. His publications include a state-wide resources and literature report on uranium resources in Nevada. Mr. Keeling earned his B.S. in Geology and has completed extensive post-graduate course work in geology at the University of Colorado. He is a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration and the Denver Region Exploration Geologists' Society.

N. Duncan Proctor
Geologist

Mr. Proctor is assigned to several New Horizon projects as field geologist and data specialist.  He will graduate with a B.S. in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in May 2008.  Mr. Proctor has worked as an exploration geologist for Teck Cominco and Queenstake Resources in Nevada and as a research assistant with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  He is President of the Association of Geoscience Students, Secretary of the student chapter of SEG and a member of AAPG at the Colorado School of Mines.

David R. Hammond
Financial Consultant 

Dr. Hammond holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Geological Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and the University of Utah, respectively. His Masters degree in Business Administration with finance specialization is from the University of Denver, and his doctoral work in Mineral Economics was performed at the Colorado School of Mines. He has over 30 years experience with major mining and energy companies, including Atlantic Richfield Corporation, The Anaconda Company, Royal Dutch Petroleum Company, and Ladd Petroleum Corporation. Since 1991, Dr. Hammond has provided mineral economics consulting services to the international mining industry, focusing on mineral-asset valuation and appraisal, mining-feasibility studies, due-diligence investigations, risk analysis, and commodity-market research.  From 1997 to 2000, he provided such services as a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Energy & Mining Group. Currently Dr. Hammond serves as Vice President of Strategic Planning for International Royalty Corporation.  He is also an adjunct lecturer in Finance at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and serves as a program evaluator for the Engineering Accreditation Commission. 

Frank K. Fritz
Consulting Geophysicist

Frank P. Fritz is a consulting geophysicist for New Horizon.  Mr. Fritz has experience in uranium, precious and base metals and has worked internationally in 23 countries.  His uranium experience includes analysis of geophysical characteristics in the Athabasca Basin of Canada and Western Australia.  He has supervised collection and interpretation of a wide variety of geophysical and remote sensing exploration techniques including electromagnetic, time domain EM, IP, complex resistivity, resistivity, CSMT, airborne and ground magnetic, and gravity.  He received a Geophysical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and a MS in Geophysics from the University of Arizona.

David L. Nelson
Legal Counsel – Mining

Mr. Nelson specializes in mining and transactional law for clients involved in the exploration, development and production of natural resources. From 1978 to 1992 he was in-house counsel for Holcim (US) Inc., successor by merger to Ideal Basic Industries, Inc. Mr. Nelson earned a professional degree in geophysical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a JD from the University of Denver. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, the Colorado Mining Association (Chairman - 1985) and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.

Joy K. Moseley
Land Person

Joy K. Moseley has 30 years experience in land, title and permit management for mineral exploration and development companies.  She has completed title searches and acquisitions of properties in all parts of the U.S.  She has managed multiple land acquisition programs for clients.  She has permitted exploration operations and field checked them for compliance in many areas of the interior of Alaska and the lower 48 states.  With JV partners, American Copper & Nickel Co. and Homestake Mining Co., she permitted the Mineral Hill Mine in Jardine, Montana, which won the US Forest Service Bald Eagle Working Award, and she permitted the Kenosha Pass Uranium Mine in Colorado and directed its closure.  She is the president of Moseley & Associates, Inc.

Joseph B. Young
Manager of Finance and Administration

Mr. Young served as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Jose, California and has served as a financial manager for several junior resource companies. Mr. Young earned his BA in Accounting at the University of Utah, and is President and Managing Member of Resource Consulting, LLC, a firm that provides investor relations services to New Horizon.
